Halloween!

Halloween started with a little pumpkin carving in the wee hours of the morning. Rick got up early with Gwen and let me sleep in. By the time I was up, theirs were done and mine had the guts out, waiting for me to carve it. That's true love. Gwen designed the 1st and the 3rd one from the left.

We invited the Johnson's over to celebrate Halloween with us. Gwen plays well with Lucy and waited all day for her to show up. We kept the food pretty simple: apples with caramel dip, spinach artichoke dip, a jack-o-lantern pizza and a ghost pie.

Gwen had her heart set on playing a few games. We let her design her own version of "Pin the Spider on the Web". They seemed to enjoy it!

We took tons of pictures of the girls before heading out for trick-or-treating. Gwen liked the idea that she was the super hero saving the princess.

Baby Parker looked awesome in his disco costume!

The moms took the girls trick-or-treating while the dads stayed back with the babies. Fiona dozed off in Rick's lap which is unheard of...

After trick-0r-treating, the girls played musical chairs, which was very entertaining...

Soon after, we put the girls to bed and enjoyed adult conversation and admired the cuteness of our babies.
