Eleven-Worth

On Veteran's Day- Novemeber 11th, we headed out to Leavenworth with Andy, Jessica, Charlie, and Cathy. Apparently everybody was calling it Eleven-worth and two weeks later I'm just now figuring this out.

Anyway, somehow we talked Cathy into picking up all up in her Honda Pilot. She squeezed in the very back row in between Fiona and Gwen in their car seats. Andy, Jessica and Charlie squeezed in the middle row. Rick drove and I was comfortable riding shot gun. Thank heaven for car sickness to always land me in the front. I don't know how Cathy did it. I would have been so sick- not to mention claustrophobic.

Anyway, with all of out coats, diaper bags, and Check Spellingstrollers- we were packed! But, it was totally fun.

Once we got to Leavenworth, we headed out to lunch first. Then we looked around at some shops- our favorite always being the hat shop...

Later we rode the trolley and had a little tour of the town. Gwen loved it the most- it must have been nice to be free from her car seat...

Funny Charlie, always goofing around

We only stayed a short while, but the ride was almost as fun as the destination itself. I love a road trip!

The ride there is gorgeous! Matt has never been. I want to go, but should plan some activities instead of wandering around aimlessly.
