When we went to Snowflake Lane in early December, I regretted not leaving enough time for Gwen to enjoy some of the other Christmas things going on inside
Bellevue Square Mall. One thing in particular was the reindeer they had there that appeared to be flying through the air, pulling Santa's sleigh. Gwen, being a huge
Rudolph fan, kept asking to go upstairs to take a closer look. But if we did that, we would have missed the show at Snowflake Lane.
So, a couple weeks later I convinced Rick to go back. It actually didn't take much convincing- he is such a good sport. This time we went directly upstairs and Gwen got to check out Rudolph to her hearts content. What a spoiled girl. Since we were there, we figured we might as well wait in the line to see Santa. It took a while, but Gwen is patient and didn't mind the wait.
When it was her turn, she suddenly became shy (there's a first for everything) and she wouldn't go near Santa if I wasn't with her. Actually, he was kind of crotchety- maybe she could sense that. As a result, the Santa photo has the whole family in it....

We ate a Specialty's for dinner (their
caprese sandwich is amazing) and then headed out for Snowflake Lane.

This time we opted for the east side of
Bellevue Way. It turned out to be an awesome choice- it was less crowded
and Rudolph was there. Gwen was in heaven!

Last time we were there, I didn't notice the lights changing at the tops of the buildings. So cool! I'm definitely glad we came back for round two!
