We woke up in the morning on St. Patrick's Day to lots of tricks set all over the house. A trail of "leprechaun dust" led us to all of the silly things he did. The leprechaun found one of Gwen's coloring books and colored a page green.
The leprechaun also turned over chairs, and moved pillows and cushions all over the place.
The sneaky guy even had the nerve to sneak into Gwen's Halloween candy. Yes, her Halloween candy isn't gone yet. That seems to happen when we let her only eat one M&M a day.
He rolled up rugs and moved around toilet paper...
Looks like he took a break from his work to play with some trains.
More pandemonium...
Hmmm.... the trap is down and there are some candy wrappers strewn about. I wonder if we caught a leprechaun...
Foiled again! But, Gwen got some cute hair clips and a green glow stick.
Gwen thought all the tricks were hilarious and loved her gifts. I guess next year we will need to set a better trap!
Gwen doesn't like it when things are out of place. She immediately insisted that we put everything back where it belongs and pulled out the vacuum.

I love this little video of Gwen when she found her little presents...

On St. Patrick's Day, we like to celebrate by preparing an authentic Irish meal for dinner. This year we made Shepard's Pie , a green salad, and bread with green butter. The Davis family joined us and it was a great end to a fun day!

How fun! You are such a good mom. I never in a million years would have thought of doing something like that.
I cannot go back to when you were children. If I could, we would have caught a chunk of his green hair. I LOVE what you do with even the less significant holidays. Can I come live with you?
