My sweet friend, Emily, threw me an awesome baby shower. Of course, the first thing I did was take a photo of the delicious food. I seriously have a one track mind...
Many of my friends came and enjoyed the food and festivities. Instead of playing the same old shower games, we decorated each other with henna. Apparently in India, it is customary to decorate the belly's of mothers-to-be with henna. It was really fun and a lot of people really got into the body painting...
Emily N. I can always count on getting an awesome photo of her

The adorable Metcalf girls. I bet you can't even tell which one is the mom!

Emily, the hostess. Yes, she was preggers too and totally threw a shower for me. I had fun painting her belly!
Somehow I can't find a picture of my belly. Darn! I'm really disappointed that I don't have a photo of my nasty, fat, stretch-marked belly for the world wide web to see.
We also played two fun games. One was writing a poem for the new baby, which turned out really cute. The other was a game where people wrote down facts (and lies) about me and people had to guess what was true and was was false.
Since I hardly needed anything, we had people bring baby food to donate to a local food shelter. I was so touched by the generosity of these sweet ladies!
This is the food that I came home with that night, but I've had many more people drop food by since then. I haven't delivered the baby food yet, so if anybody else has anything to donate, please let me know!

I can't believe you're already almost done being pregnant! Why is everyone else's pregnancies go by so fast?
That's awesome!
I like that idea about donating the baby food. What a kind thing to do.
What a fun idea! I'm so sad that I wasn't there to share in the fun! You guys were SO much fun to hang out with, especially you! Good luck with the new baby...I can't wait to see pictures!!!
