At eleven months, Fiona's personality has really started to shine. She has likes and dislikes and makes them well known. She will throw a fit if you take a toy from her and will giggle like crazy if you tickle her.
She loves the piano. If Gwen starts playing it, her ears perk up and she immediately makes a bee line for the living room.
She also had become aware of her reflection and loves to admire herself in the mirror.
She is also really moving quick now and has her own cute method of crawling. Usually she crawls using her left knee and her right foot. It's pretty funny. Rick calls it the wounded soldier. She can crawl on both knees, but usually prefers not to.
Even when she is just hanging out, the right leg is usually still up. She will sometimes even get up on her left knee a little but when she is reaching for somebody and it looks like she's proposing. She's so cute.
She is still a great eater (aka, huge appetite) although she isn't as open-minded as she once was. As I introduce table foods to her she shows less and less interest in the veggies she used to love. Now all she wants is crackers. At least she still loves bananas. If I give her something that she doesn't want, she throws it everywhere. My floor is now officially impossible to keep clean.
Fiona is also starting to get into stuff. She loves the DVD's and the buttons on the DVD player.

No matter how many times I tell her "no" and redirect her, she keeps coming back to the DVD player. She will crawl over to it, look at me, smile, and then touch it.

She's not cruising yet, but can pull herself up to a standing position to reach something she wants. She loves standing at the play kitchen with Gwen.
It is so fun to watch Fiona and Gwen together. They are really enjoying each other's company. Although I still play with them the majority of the time, it has been fun to sit back and play the role of observer now and then. I've even been able to get a couple things done while they entertain each other. What a fun age!

She is SO cute! I wish I could see her in person! :( I know, come visit us... you and Em take a road trip to Utah... it could be fun, right? :)
What fun. I'm glad Fiona is mobile and more content. So happy she is sleeping longer and giving you bit of a break. Nice you can leave her more and have ME time.
Love the pictures. That last one with Gwen and Fiona in their kitchen is darling.
