St George- Part Seven: Pinata Time

On Sunday, everyone went to Grandma and Grandpa’s house for a big lunch. Andy and Jessica did the cutest thing and made homemade piñatas that looked like Grandma and Grandpa. Grandma’s had a big chef’s hat on it and she was holding a spoon (because she is such a good cook). Grandpa’s had a Dixie Diesel hat on and a nametag that said “Harry”, made to look like his mechanic shirt. They had each of them break their piñatas. Grandpa whacked his with a tennis racquet and Grandma went after hers with a cane. There is something really entertaining about watching an old lady beat the heck out of a piñata with her cane. It was hilarious!

Gwen was excited to see that the pinatas held candy!

Bob really wanted to be in the photo!

Andy and Jessica: The Masterminds behind the pinatas

This video of Grandma attacking the pinata cracks me up. It doesn't appear like this is her first time using it as a weapon!

This is my favorite part of your trip yet - I want her to be my cane-wielding Grandma!!!

I needed a good laugh and Grandma delivered. I watched it several times. That cane scares me a little.

Love it! I appreciated this even more since I remember Grandma and Grandpa Lundin.

Good thing you didn't stop in SLC, because if you did without stopping by, then we'd have issues. We really miss you guys. Looks like St Georgy Peorgy was fun!!!
