Saturday was a real high point of our trip to St George. We got to attend the baptism of cute Rebekah Ruth Bean. She is Tom and Laura’s oldest daughter and a complete sweetheart. It was very obvious that she understood how special this occasion was. Originally the baptism was scheduled for another day, so we are very grateful to Tom and Laura who rearranged things and went to a lot of extra work so that we can be there. (Thanks!!!) It was such a neat day! Here are some pics from the baptism...

I think the person that benefited most from Rebekah’s sweetness was Gwen. They really bonded and quickly became "Best Cousins", as Rebekah put it. Every morning, Rebekah, who was up before Gwen, waited outside Gwen's door for Gwen to wake up. As soon as Rebekah heard Gwen make a noise, she would run in and grab her. Then, they would do everything together from playing with toys, painting, making fairy princess wands, or some other cute art project planned by Rebekah. When Gwen was giving Rick and I a hard time, Rebekah would often step in help us with her. She would say things like, "Gwen, if you hurry and get your pajamas on, I'll get mine on too. Then we will have time to read stories together before bed.". Rebekah often commented that Gwen seemed mature for being only 2. She said Gwen was more fun to talk to than many of her friends her age.
Our trip would not have been the same if I hadn't been for sweet Rebekah. We love you Rebekah!

That is so sweet! I love Gwen's facial expressions.
I completely take offense to this - Best Cousins?!? I thought Conor and I had this title. I'm not sure we can see each other anymore. My feelings are too hurt.
Just kidding!!! Gwen is ADORABLE in these photos! Keep the vacation posts coming, love you guys!
