- Going to San Diego with Rick and Gwen. Sea World was awesome and we loved playing with Gwen on the beach.
- Going to the American Idol Parade/Concert held to honor Bothell's own Blake Lewis. Kirk (my brother-in-law), Gwen and I were totally on the news. I sounded like an idiot when the interviewed me, but at least Gwen was caught by news crews looking adorable!
- Our trips down to Vancouver to see Mike, Audra and the kids. Times with them and the fam are always guaranteed to be good.
- Losing 15 pounds and feeling awesome about it. Gaining 6 of these pounds back will not make my favorite memories list.
- Watching Gwen develop from a baby to a full-blown toddler. Everyday she says and does new things. I love it!
- Getting stuck in Old Navy for 2 hours while the Everett Mall was in lockdown with a gunman on the loose. Some people might not enjoy this, but it was kinda exciting to look death in the eye. It also gave me lots of time to find several good deals.
- Moving into a new house!
- Experiencing Halloween through Gwen's eyes. Last year she didn't really get it, but this year it was all about the candy. She wore her spider costume every chance she got.
- Watching Gwen sit on Santa's lap and without hestiation and tell him that she wanted a train and tracks for Christmas. Gwen really loved Christmas and had a hard time seeing it end. We loved Christmas this year too. It was great to spend so much time with family and friends, but most of all, it was fun to watch Gwen.
- We threw my Mom and AWESOME survivor-themed birthday party. We did it just like the show. We did immunity challenges, had tribal councils, and of course did some wheeling a dealing on the side. I was Jeff Probst (the host) and did my best to keep everybody in line. We caught the whole thing on tape and it was hilarious!
Here is a video of Gwen shaking it at the Blake Lewis concert. She was 22 months.

I'm so glad that you have a blog now! Now, I know what's going on with you. Gwen is so cute. I love her little dance. She must get her moves from you, I remember the liberty square days with you busting a move! -Teri
Hey! first, love the blog! Way to go! I'm going to love seeing what goes on in the life of Beans, too. Secondly, WHAT?? I CANNOT believe you were stuck in the mall that day with ME and I didn't see you while we roamed the mall for 2 hours. I don't think I totally share the same excitement factor for it, but too funny! I remember it was pouring, pouring rain when the finally released us, and my car was of course parked on the side of the mall where the shooting was. I was soaked to the bone w/Lucy. See... w/out a blog we would never have known we were there on the same day. ;)
