Later that night, Rick came to pick me up for dinner. He brought me a "bouquet" of flowers, but this was not your typical floral arrangement. Although there was a rose in it, it also had corn dogs and popsicles. Being completely smitten, I thought this was the most creative and romantic thing ever.

When we got to Rick's car, there were little gifts hidden all over in it that were wrapped in toilet paper. He also got me a hoodie just like one that he had that I was always stealing from him. (This actually didn't keep me from continuing to steal his.) I got Rick a big bag of candy, (which I ate most of) and a card game that we never played because both of us were too lazy to read the instructions.
We went to dinner at Chevy's in Orem and apparently the food did not agree with me. My stomach was so upset that we had to stop on the way home at Michael's Art & Craft so that I could use their facilities. There is nothing like a little bit of diarrhea to really impress a date.
When we got home that night, we got the happy news that our roommates, Dave and Jeni who were dating eachother got engaged that night...

Our engagement wasn't too far off in the future either, but that story will be told another day. This was the first of many awesome holidays together!
I love you, Rick!!!

I remember this one very well! I feel pretty special that we made your blog! I might have to link to you because I don't have that pic scanned. I hope you don't mind? Glad to see that your first valentine's wasn't just a fluke!
