O Christmas Tree Part One: The Search for the Perfect Tree

Our means for obtaining a Christmas Tree is the same every year. First, we join up with the rest of the Bean Clan and eat a calorie-filled breakfast at Maltby Cafe. Then, we go to a local tree farm and cut down a tree. Except for this year the tree farm we usually go to was out of business- no biggie.

The kids always get hot chocolate at Maltby Cafe. This might be Gwen's favorite part.

This was Whitney's first time joining us in this tradition....

Fiona got to snack on a Baby Mum Mum for breakfast...

Next was off to the Christmas Tree farm. We heard about a cool one that gives tractor ride. Apparently everybody else heard about it too. It was crowded!

In the end, we didn't actually cut down a tree, but choose one from their previously cut selection. Yes, I am a tree snob and the u-cut ones weren't good enough for me.
It was c-c-cold out and poor Fiona had chapped cheeks after our outing. We were definitely looking forward to warming up. But first....a few family photos...
