First up was "Pin the Artichoke on the Plate" since artichokes are my favorite food. The winner was definitely not Cathy, who managed to put her artichoke on the sliding glass door.
Next up was "Color Corners" which was so fun. How have I never played this game before? Gwen never moved from the orange corner and won. She is so cute.
Next we played a game where you wrap up several gifts in layers, roll a dice, and whoever rolls a two has to put on an oven mitt and try and unwrap a layer off of the gift before somebody else rolls a two.
Another fun game was where each person went into the living room one by one before a panel of judges. The object was to be holding as many balloons as possible with a one minute time limit. Whoever was holding the most balloons was the winner!
The last game was eating a donut on a string. Why do I love this game so much? Is it must because I love donuts? Andy was the winner and I wasn't too far behind him. The rest of the participants were kids, so the competition wasn't too fierce.
If the donut fell on the floor, the rules stated that we were allowed to eat it off of the floor. Had this been at another person's house, that's where the competition would have ended for me. But, I will eat a donut off of my floor. Apparently Andy will too.
Fiona fell asleep on Jeff which was some sort of a birthday miracle. He has a magic touch that I apparently don't have...
Last, but not least, Gwen helped me blow out my candles. I forgot to make a wish, but I already have everything I need anyway. I'm a lucky girl!
