Halloween of Year's Past

I thought I'd take a break from my constant attempts to catch up on my blog and do something a little current.

Since tomorrow is Halloween, I thought it would be fun to take a trip down memory lane and take a look at what our costumes were over the past few years...

2005

For a family theme, I was an open-heart surgeon, Rick was my patient, and Gwen was his heart. I know, cute...

I also got Gwen these cozy little Halloween jammies...

2006

We didn't do a family theme this year because we threw an adults only Halloween party. I insisted that Rick and I be an two-headed-moster. He wasn't thrilled to be attached to me the whole evening.

Gwen was an adorable bumble bee...

2007

We didn't do a family theme this year either because I wanted to be Sanjaya Malakar from American Idol so that I could do the faux-hawk. Rick decided to be Simon. Maybe he just wanted a reason to be mean to me.

Gwen on the other hand was an adorable spider...

Hiding under Gwen's costume was her Little Devil shirt. She was more like a little angel. It was the only girl's shirt I could find in black.

2008

This is the first year we let Gwen pick out her costume. She was dead set on being a firefighter. We went along with the theme and were the people she rescued. She did NOT like our costumes. We totally freaked her out.

And what are the Bean's dressing up as this year for Halloween?

Supergirl, Lois Lane, Lex Luthor, and Kryptonite.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

Nathan and I aren't emotionally secure enough to dress up for Halloween with our kids. I love all the themes you guys have come up with over the years.

Great minds think alike! Jenna was super girl, too. We were going to dress up as a family, but were not as ambitious as you! Cute fam!
