Turkey Day

Ok...one more Fall post and then I will at least be in the right season. Of course, it will be spring before I get all of my Christmas posts up. Anyway...

Thanksgiving morning, we woke up and ate doughnuts for breakfast. Might as well start packing on the calories early, right?

Gwen and I watched the Macy's parade while Rick played football. Gwen loved it, and watched the whole thing. She even tried to keep one eye on the TV while eating her doughnut.

Gwen always eats the top off first

Gwen was very interested in the drums in all the marching bands. She eventually brought her own drum down so she could participate. She sat on it a little more than actually playing it.

Santa made an appearance at the end of the parade. I love the look of pure joy on Gwen's face as he came out...

The rest of the day was spent at Rick's parents house, where we enjoyed great food, great company, and a great tummy ache.
