After an almost 2 hour drive to downtown Seattle (traffic was horrendous), I met Rick and the Purple Cafe. Rick went there straight for work to get us a table since we tried to get reservations too late. Rick did a great job sweet talking the staff and fighting off other customers. When I got there, he had a great spot for us...a cozy couch at a nice table. So romantic.
I was so worried that they wouldn't let him hold the table for very long, so I "ran" all the way from the parking garage to the restaurant. It took me a while to recover from that. Rick had been watching me from the window and said that it didn't look much like running to him. Hey, when you are pregnant, anything faster than a casual walk feels like running. At least when you are lazy pregnant woman like me.
My sweet hubby took the liberty of ordering our favorite appetizer a few minutes before I arrived. Baked Brie. I love Baked Brie. I want to bathe in a tub full of Baked Brie. We tried to take a photo of it, but I ate it too fast...
I ordered a TASTY pizza. It had goat cheese, mushrooms, and lots of basil on it. SO
good. I was able to hold myself off long enough to take a photo...
Rick always orders their flank steak sandwich. I managed to eat almost half of my pizza, and all of his salad.

Yum. I just love this place...

Next, we headed to the ACT theatre and mingled at the BYU Alumni reception that they held beforehand. When the doors opened, we found our seats. Our view was awesome!

We took this one last photo of ourselves and then the usher told us that photos inside the theatre isn't allowed. Opps.

The show itself was awesome. The set was so cool. I love technology. They did things I would have never thought of. The acting was great and of course, the story was timeless. We laughed, I cried, and Rick screamed when the ghost of Jacob Marley startled him. What a great night!

What a cute date night - glad you finally got to claim this b-day present. :)
Mmmm...Brie is my favorite cheese.
Wait - you went on a date and I wasn't invited?!? How cruel!
