Slumber Party with Cheryl!

We were lucky enough to have Rick's darling cousin, Cheryl overnight last weekend. Her husband, Conor, is living in North Carolina doing an internship, so I thought it was a good time for a slumber party!

Cheryl is a sweetie, and came bearing gifts for Gwen's birthday. She got Gwen a cute train for her Thomas collection, some Dora stickers and silly string. She took this sweet photo of Gwen with her loot with her iphone...

After dinner, Rick was kind enough to hold the fort down while Cheryl and I did a little shopping. Cheryl was a good sport and accompanied me to all of the stores that I needed to do returns at. (Those that know me well know that I always have returns to do).

After our outing, we all hung out, played games, and Cheryl and I fell asleep while watching 13 Going on 30.

The next morning, Cheryl , Rick and I all woke up early. Of course, the one day Gwen sleeps in, I'm wide awake. She did look like an angel while she slept though...

When Gwen woke up, we decided it was time for her first silly string experience. She loved it!

Later, we headed out for a fun outing, which I will detail in a later post. Thanks for spending so much time with us, Cheryl. We love you!!!

Cheryl is darling. Almost cuter than Gwen. I have never seen her when she's not smiling, but she must be a crab once in awhile.

The photo of Gwen sleeping is so precious.

Sometimes it's hard to believe we're related with how bad I hate returning stuff.

Cute pictures!

I'm so glad to know that someone else has buyers remorse like I do. I am the queen of returns. Gwen is so adorable. I will see you soon. I can't wait

Thank you for capturing me in all of my my tie-dye and christmas pajama'd glory! :)

Conor comes home October 30 - November 2, but I'm not sure we'll be able to hang since he's only here for a short bit, but we DEFINITELY need to have a slumber party again when he's home December 19 - January 4!

Love you guys - can't wait to do it again!
