10 Blissful Years and Shoelaces

Rick and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary in October. He took the day off and made secret plans for the day. All he told me was to dress comfortable and wear shoes with laces.

"Like running shoes?" I asked.

"No, they just need to lace up." He said.

"How comfy is comfy. Should I wear sweats?" I asked.

"You can wear whatever you want. Jeans, sweats, whatever. It doesn't matter." He said.

"I am going to be doing a lot of moving around? Working up a sweat?" I asked.

"No, not really."

Clearly, we weren't getting anywhere.

So I put on my jeans, t-shirt, and casual sneakers and got in the car with Rick and the girls. After driving a few minutes, I finally figured out where we were going.

Indoor Sky Diving.

It's a good thing I didn't figure it out before we left because Rick might have never gotten me in the car.

Had I known I would have gotten to wear the awesome-est jumpsuit ever, I would have been running to get there!

Rick got to go first. He did way better than I did...

Our instructor was a serious close-talker...

Next was my turn. I got worked up over nothing. It was fun!

My awesome hubby picked out the perfect activity that we could do with the girls. They loved watching and kept out of trouble the whole time. I can't wait to go back!

I would never have the guts to do sky diving for real, but the indoor thing looks really fun.
Happy Anniversary! Wow, 10 years and you two still know how to fun.
