Moving: More Goodbyes

Thursday was full of goodbyes. We said goodbye to our favorite pediatrician, goodbye to our house, and then goodbye to two of Rick's favorite co-workers, Beth and Tiffany.

We met up with them at California Pizza Kitchen in Northgate for a quick lunch. I set it up to surprise Rick and he was so happy to be able to see them one more time (as was I). We were a minute or two late because we stopped off at the Nordstrom to get Gwen some shoes. I was trying to set some sort of record for jamming several things into one day.

Anyway, we had a great lunch, but I have no proof because I didn't take any photos. Drat!

After lunch we headed back to Bob and Cathy's to give Fiona a nap. Rick and I went back out to run a few more errands by ourselves, which was really nice. We went to the bank to do a wire transfer to make sure there were enough funds in our account to close on our new house. We also went to Albertson's for some snackage and then to Fred Meyer to buy Gwen some color changing Hot Wheels because she did so great at her appointment. She loves the ones you can dip in water.

We eneded up leaving the store with not only the cars, but also a Unicorn Pillow Pet too! She's been dying for one of these and I was excited to see they are now selling them in the stores. She's so spoiled.

Needless to say, it was a really hot date. Jealous?

Gwen loved her pillow pet. She was out-of-her-mind excited. So worth it.

Later that afternoon, Kirk and Whitney came for dinner and to say good-bye. I forgot to take pictures AGAIN.

After dinner, Torrey and Lisa dropped off MG for a little playdate while they ran an errand. It was so great for them to be able to play one more time. They made the most of it.

Being silly with clothes
Gwen thought they were SO hysterical
Sweet MG also gave Gwen a bag of goodies to keep her busy on the plane

Torrey and Lisa returned with sweet baby JJ. We took a few more photos and goofed off a bit more before they left...

Wouldn't Rick look hot with hair like mine?

We weren't quite ready for them to leave. We followed them out to the car and hugged some more...

One last wave through the window...

The good news is that we won't have to miss the Davis family much longer because they just annoucened that they were moving to Denver. Ok, I made that up, but I girl can dream, can't she?
