Stuffed Animal Slumber Party

We used to let Gwen sleep only with 2 stuffed animals at a time at night. Then one day we realized that sometimes we make rules just for the sake of making rules. Is there anything really wrong with sleeping with more than one stuffed animal? Not really.

Every night, Gwen now has a little slumber party with her animals. Sometimes at night we can hear her talk to them. After she has gone to sleep, we will peek in at her and the stuffed animals will always be some where different. Often, they are lined up in a row, covered with a blanket, so they don't get cold. On other nights, they will be snuggled up with her.

On this particular night, there were several of them on one side of her covered with her palm tree blanket. On the other side, the rest of them were all there, covered with her lavendar blanket. She was in the middle, under her comforter. I love how a few of them are peeking out under her blankets in the photo.
