Making Valentines

Gwen is a big fan of art. If it involves crayons, pens, paints, scissors, or stickers, she's game. If it involves glitter glue, she really wants to do it.

Several days before Valentine's Day, she and I set out to buy some supplies for making Valentine cards. She picked out stickers, foam hearts, and of course, the coveted glitter glue

Once we returned home, she immediately began working on her cards. The problem was that she put a lot of time into each card, meaning she wore out when we had only gotten a few done. But, the ones she did make were great!

When it was all said and done, she made some for her preschool friends and a few family members. Out of those, some of them didn't even get delivered. We are really good at the making part, but the delivery part isn't our forte. So, if you didn't get a card, it isn't because we don't love you. It's because we don't love you enough to address an envelope and put it in the mail. But, you can enjoy it right here from the blog, which is practically the same thing anyway, right?

Here are some of Gwen's masterpieces. She did almost all of the lettering by herself!
